Yevgeniya offers
supportive nutritional consultations in
conjunction with medical review by Warren Ross,
M.D. We make every effort to book new clients
with Dr. Ross and Yevgeniya on the same day in
order to offer this comprehensive,
physician-supervised consultation. Yevgeniya is
also available to provide nonmedical advice,
such as weight loss, lifestyle and healthy
eating education for those who wish to simply be
seen directly.
Consultations are
aimed at offering you tools and knowledge to
become healthy and helping you stay that way.
Whether for general maintenance or to help with
specific concerns, each consultation is goal
oriented and based on your individual needs.
Your day-to-day lifestyle, cooking abilities and
preferences, family situation, as well as work
and stress load are all taken into account to
create a program that you will feel comfortable
with, while achieving your goals. My goals are
to offer you as many options as possible in
order to find what works for you. The spectrum
of possible choices includes information about
various dietary theories and philosophy behind
them, lifestyle advice, exercise programs;
information about herbs, homeopathy, nutritional
supplements, cleanses and detoxification
programs as well as many others. Consultations
are available in person, as well as via
telephone and/or Skype.

Whether you need to loose or gain weight, experienced
advice is always a great help. I work with young and old, professional and
recreational athletes, and those leading a sedentary
lifestyle to advise you how to achieve and/or maintain
your ideal weight.
HEALTHY LIFESTYLE ADVICE
Whatever you need to know what certain ingredients are?
Which cosmetics have the least amount of toxic
components? Which plastics are safe and which are not
and why? Whether to spend on organics or not and how to
get the best deal? How to implement "green" living in
your life? How to improve your kids' lunches or your
breakfasts with minimum time and maximum nutrition?
Whatever your questions and concerns may be I am here to
address them and provide you with the most updated
information.
EXERCISE PROGRAMS
Everyone knows exercise is good for you. However, it is
important to know what exercise is good for YOU. Did you
know that weight training, for example, is essential for
postmenopausal women to prevent bone loss? Yet, it is
not the right choice for those with hypertension. Have
you been running miles each day in an attempt to lose
weight but actually gained some? Running is a great
aerobic exercise; however some people, especially those
that tend to gain weight when stressed, cannot lose
weight with this type of exercise because their body
considers this workout as stress. Simply switching to a
much calmer program such as swimming or yoga may do the
trick. These as well as other topics are addressed in
order to find YOUR ideal exercise plan.
TRADITIONAL HOME REMEDIES AND HERBS
Herbs and home remedies have been used for centuries to
heal everything from a rash or an aching stomach to a
broken bone or an ailing liver. Many herbs are being
researched and there is a multitude of success stories.
I will be happy to share my knowledge of traditional
home remedies, herbs, and supplements that I acquired
during my training as well as constant updates from
research literature.
EDUCATIONAL LECTURES ABOUT HEALTHY EATING HABITS AND
LIFESTYLE
I am happy to make an on-site presentation on any topic
of your choice. I have experience in lecturing various
audiences large and small from young kids to adults.
SUPERMARKET TOURS AND PANTRY MAKEOVER
Supermarket tour is a unique opportunity for you to have
a holistic health consultant go shopping with you. We
will go around the store and while you shop, I will
point out healthy choices; great substitutes for what
may not be the healthiest picks; I'll introduce you to
new foods and will give you some preparation ideas; I
will teach you how to read labels and how to do it
quickly, so you don't have to spend an hour with each
label. These, as well as other topics will be covered
during a one-hour tour at the supermarket of your
choice. Pantry makeover is similar to the supermarket
tour in terms of educational value. I come to your house
and go through your entire food supply (fridge, pantry,
and freezer) pointing out the good and the bad of your
provisions. I will explain why each food falls into
either category and will teach you to select with your
health in mind. After the makeover, we'll shop for
better replacements to renew and ”healthify” your pantry
and all unwanted food will be donated to a local food
bank.
COOKING LESSONS AND PRESENTATIONS
Cooking lessons are a great way to get fresh ideas for
use of old ingredients or to be introduced to foods
you've never tasted and/or cooked before. Classes and
presentations take place in an informal and fun
atmosphere. Whether you'd like to participate hands-on
or just observe, this one-hour class will finish with a
great tasting menu and a load of food facts you didn't
know before. Available for groups or privately.
RECIPE CONVERSIONS
If you enjoy cooking and your new healthier lifestyle is
getting in the way of enjoying old time recipes I will
be glad to help you with ”healthifying” your favorite
recipes. You'll get the same old taste you are longing
for with a strong nutritional punch. I also rework
recipes
for those suffering from food allergies to create dishes
that are not only allergen-free but are just as
delicious as the originals.
TAKE HOME CHEF AND CATERING
It will be my pleasure to cater your small event and
provide you with the most delicious and nutritious menu.
I am also available for on/off site cooking appointments
and/or ongoing sessions.
