Treatment Philosophy
Early in my career, I learned
the value of a strengths-based approach to therapy and how
it can build into a person’s overall wellness and wholeness.
This is at the core of my treatment philosophy and what
builds into all other areas of therapy I provide. I also had
the unique opportunity to gain a real understanding of the
negative effects traumatic experiences can have on a life
which led me to pursue specialized training in trauma
treatment. Stressors both large and small may pose
challenges to daily living, and having a strategy to handle
those experiences can often be the freedom a person wants
and needs.
It is my goal to create a safe and welcoming environment
where people can heal, grow and ultimately lead a
transformed life. Counseling is beneficial for people
experiencing extreme distress as well those seeking to make
changes or understand their current season of life. |
